Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Follow the safari in order from Day 1 to the final day.
Day 1
Nairobi or Airport- Tsavo East National Park
Early morning pick up from Nairobi hotel then drive to Tsavo East National Park passing through the Manyani Gate arrives at Lodge for lunch as well as check-in. Relax until 18:00hrs time for even Spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species. Check in as well for dinner and overnight at Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge, (Full Board)
Day 2
Tsavo East National Park – Tsavo West National Park
Early morning game drives from 6:15am followed by a breakfast at 8:30am. After breakfast proceed with game drive enroute to Tsavo west National Park. Short game drives enroute to the lodge for Lunch as well as check-in. Relax until 3:30pm time for an afternoon game drive at the Rhino Sanctuary until 6.00pm. Animals include the leopard, cheetah, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax and porcupine. The Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary is another safe haven for rhinos. Finally, the park offers excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and Overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge, (Full Board).
Day 3
Tsavo West National Park – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, passing through Mzima Springs spot Hippos, Crocodiles and Fish in the crystal clear waters and see the volcanic formations Shetani lava flow, arriving in Amboseli National Park for lunch as well as check in. Relax until 16:00 hrs time for the afternoon game viewing. This park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest (Gnu), Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt, Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp, (Full Board).
Day 4
Amboseli National Park
Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed as an Animal’s paradise. Visit Masai Village and learn their rich culture at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp, (Full Board).
Day 5
Amboseli National Park – Mount Kenya National Park
After breakfast, depart for Mount Kenya National Park via Nairobi; on arrival, check in at the lodge. The resident wildlife in this park grazes / feed around the lodges. They include; cape Buffaloes, Forest Hog and different birds. View the snow – capped peaks of Mount Kenya (5,200M above the sea level). Dinner and overnight at the Serena Mountain Lodge, (Full Board).
Day 6
Mount Kenya National Park – Samburu Game Reserve
Morning breakfast then depart for Samburu Game Reserve via Isiolo. On arrival have game en route to the lodge for lunch as well as check in. After lunch, relax until 16:00hrs, time for the evening game drive. Spot the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and the gravy Zebra. Samburu is the home to different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp, (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 7
Samburu Game Reserve
Spend a whole day in Samburu National Reserve (with lunch boxes from Samburu sopa Lodge) with morning and afternoon game drives; spot the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and the gravy Zebra. Samburu is the home to different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa lodge, (Full board).
Day 8
Samburu Game Reserve- Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, drive through Tea and Coffee plantations, Thomson falls and the Equator to Lake Nakuru National Park. Game drives en route before checking in at the Lodge or camp. Afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to view Flamingoes and pelicans also spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbucks and other kinds of African wildlife. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Safari Lodge or Flamingo Hill Tented Camp or Maili Saba Camp, (Full Board).
Day 9
Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve with game en route to the camp for check in as well for lunch. Afternoon game viewing in this fascinating wildlife paradise with a chance to view; giraffes, elephants, monkeys, leopards, lions, gazelles and different bird’s species. Dinner and Overnight at Elangata Olerai Luxury Tented Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge or Oldarpoi Mara Camp, (Full Board).
Day 10
Masai Mara Game Reserve
Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Masai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeests, Zebras, Cheetahs and Gazelles, other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily spotted. Dinner and Overnight at Elangata Olerai Luxury Tented Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge or Oldarpoi Mara Camp, (Full Board).
Day 11
Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi or Airport
Morning game drives before breakfast depart for Nairobi after breakfast, with lunch on the way to Nairobi; later drop off at your respective Hotel or Airport, (Breakfast & Lunch).
